So, if you looked at the title of this post, you will find out the good news. The bad news is that Naomi is so big that she is literally beating me up from the inside. My kidneys were bleeding, my bladder was bleeding... and I have weird spots on my liver.
But no kidney stones.
The ultrasound tech said that (not only could she not believe they weren't taking her this week) it's a good thing my c-section is scheduled for next Monday.
So... by this time next week, I'll be holding her in my arms. Gideon will already have gotten to hold her (unless he takes one of his unusually long naps). And maybe my "innards" will get a rest from the beating they have been put through. :)
Thanks for your prayers.

yay! i'm so glad you are ok (for the most part). i can't wait to see little... or should i say big, Naomi. looks like you will have your hands full. ;) i wish i could be there, but pictures will have to do! all of our love is sent to you daily!
Get outta here! I knew when I was praying for no kidney stones, I was a little scared what the alternative would mean. That little stinker of a Naomi! I have been kicked MUCH harder this time around, but bleeding kidneys that's crazy! Good luck this next week! Molly
Yowzers! I can't believe that you are being beaten up by your unborn child! That's one of the craziest things I've heard of! (and slightly scary!) I'm so excited that you're in the very final home stretch! Enjoy your last week as a 3 person family!!!
That's one tough girl! Wait ... 2 tough girls! You're nearly there!
Niiiiiiiice. So if Gideon doesn't make it as FSU's kicker in 18 years, we should just get Naomi to try out! (Though I have full confidence in Gideon's donning of garnet and gold when the Seminoles sign him as the top high school kicker in 2024.)
