Ok, people, I'll ask you.

I have started making "things" and I cannot for the life of me settle on a name for them. My mom calls them "Paper Samplers". And, in a way, that's what they are... but "sampler" seems too rustic for some of them. "Art Pieces" seems too snobby...

They can be personalized to be ANYTHING. So far, they are being used for:

Wedding "Announcement" (you know, who married who on what date, with a Bible verse)

Wedding Vows (proud of the vows you wrote your spouse?, need a reminder of what you said?... that's what these are for)

Baby "Announcement"/Blessing (if you are one of those that doesn't tell anyone the name of your child before it's birth, a blessing may be the way to go... however, if you want something that has the child's name, birth information and possibly a picture... that can be arranged too)

So, take a look at the slide-show. If you have an idea for a name, PLEASE leave a comment. MAYBE, if I go with your idea, I'll even make you one. :)

After seeing the post about my commissioned work for JR's cousin's daughter, I actually got a request to make something special for an expectant fellow blogger. (And I'm really excited about working it up. The ideas are flowing and bubbling.)

Leave your ideas, request something for yourself... :)

Online Baby Pool

Well, this has been on our blog for a bit, but it's kind of out-of-the-way at the bottom.

So, JR thought I should bring this up and highlight it.

Enter a guess. We'll see who's closest and the winner will get "Mad Props". (yes, that's it... no cash is involved) However, I guess you'd also be entitled to bragging rites.

Some info that could come in handy:

My actual due-date is: Feb. 10
Since it is a scheduled c-section, we can schedule it a week early.
Gideon was born at week 36 due to my PIH.
Gideon weighed 7lbs. 5 ozs. as a premie.

Ok, that's all the info you get.

Have fun!

What do you think?

We have our "Big Ultrasound" THIS Tues. at 3 pm (EST). We will be posting the results (and hopefully the name) Tuesday evening. But before the information was really out there, I thought I'd poll the readers and see what the feeling out there was.

So... throw out your opinion. We'll see how many of you end up being right. :)
