Our Mission Statement

As a family of servants of God, we seek to Glorify Him by offering our lives as living sacrifices, being intentional about engaging people with Christ and the Gospel, and using the talents and training He has given us through grace to proclaim the Gospel of Grace to those near and far.

36 weeks, 5 days

I had another apt. this morning. The whole family went. (And let me just say that my boys were looking especially fine today. I should've taken a picture of them.)

The dr. thinks I have a urinary tract infection (there was blood in my urine). So he has prescribed some antibiotics while we wait for the results. If this helps with some of the discomfort I've been feeling... great.

He didn't really give us any hope of getting to have her before our scheduled date. (see link to the left)

So, unless I go into labor, it looks like we're still on for Feb. 4. (Please pray that my water breaks. I'd love to have her sooner rather than later.) :)

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers.
Daisha

I just thought, "I should call and check on Daisha." And then remembering your appointment was last Friday, I decided to check your blog first. We'll keep praying for your health and patience! I'll spare you another "Is she here yet?" call. If you need anything, give us a holler!

You guys are in my prayers! Just remember, it really won't be all that long until she's here!

And at least I know that I can limit my baby blogstalking down for a few more weeks ;)

She's just taking her time so that her massive amounts of Stockstill hair are ready for when she makes her grand entrance. Get used to it -- you'll probably be waiting on her for the next 18 years for that very same reason! ;)

Sorry you're so miserable. Both of my babies came earlier than I wanted them to; I was trying to wait for family to arrive in both cases. I'll try to send some of my early labor/water-breaking juju your way!

Daisha,
Your mom gave me your blog address to catch up with your family. Your little boy is precious and congratulations on the new little girl that is on her way. I completely understand your discomfort and readiness to have little Naomi here. Our second little boy was born November 13th and I was so thrilled to not be pregnant anymore. I am very new to blogging. I just started my blog about a week ago. I read other blogs but have never taken the plunge myself. I finally was inspired enough to do so. Maybe this way, Mat's family can keep up with us easier. I will have to try to check yours out occasionally and keep up with your growing family. Congratulations again. I hope to hear from you sometime.
God Bless,
Shelley Faulkner
