Our Mission Statement

As a family of servants of God, we seek to Glorify Him by offering our lives as living sacrifices, being intentional about engaging people with Christ and the Gospel, and using the talents and training He has given us through grace to proclaim the Gospel of Grace to those near and far.

March 1-18 {in Photos}

God answered our prayers for the Visas... and then He also gave us "one last big snow" before we leave VA.

We had a Family Sleep-over at the Busbys.  It was so much fun!  Jenn and I went shopping and to a movie.  JR and Jason played SimCity, and the kids played...

My Parent's came for a quick visit...
Gigi and Gideon danced to YouTube videos of Just Dance...
 Lunch-time at G's school...

Lunch at Dogfish Head with the FXCC staff...

While my parent's were in town, JR did the Flatliner challenge at Buffalo Wing Factory.
(I am combining several days of photos for this, so I will put those below so they can all be together.)

We also celebrated Papa Dan's birthday a little early...

Naomi and Gideon were invited to dye Easter Eggs with Ms. Teresa...

JR preached for our send-off Sunday yesterday.  We have been (and are being) blessed by the family here at FXCC.

THE FLATLINER CHALLENGE:
The Challenge:  Naomi saw all the names on the "Wall of Flame" every time (and we go there a lot) we went to Buffalo Wing Factory.  She told JR, months ago, that she wanted his name to be on the board.  So, JR took his daughter's challenge...
 signing the waiver...

10 wings... to be eaten to the bone with no drink, dip, or break, while the waiter watches.

JR didn't speak for 20 min. after the challenge... but HE DID IT!!!
He went back a few days later and snapped photos of his name on the board.

We went back tonight and he got his t-shirt.

This is Neil.  He was the waiter we had the very first time we went on our first Sunday in Fairfax.  He made us feel like family and we have enjoyed getting to know him over our time here.

And now I have put all the photos on the blog and am up-to-date.

Tomorrow the truck comes for the few items we are shipping over to Peterhead.  Wednesday the kids go to school until lunch-time and we will head to the airport around 3.  We fly out at 6 pm and will be able to move straight into our rental home by 11 am Thursday morning.  I c a n n o t believe that it is finally/already time!
