This is copied from our Prayer Support blog. I thought I'd post it here too. After slacking during the busy part of the summer, I am recommitted to posting on that site every Monday.
Thanks for your prayers over these aspects of our lives!

We are adding new things every week to our "To Do" list here in Searcy.
Last night, in addition to teaching the university class at Downtown on Sunday mornings, he also had some responsibilities at the evening communion service.
I have started my work with the Children's directing in the Harding Homecoming musical.
Which means, that we have hit the point where we are passing each other and the kids off. In fact, yesterday our schedules and meetings over-lapped. But we are blessed to be living with multiple family members who were willing to watch them in our absence.
Gideon has his "preview" day of preschool this Thursday. He'll be really excited about it when I mention it to him.
As you can tell, we are busy and adjusting. Last night, JR said, "I've never worked so hard and gotten paid so little!" It's true. But it's also amazing to see how God is providing for us. He is good.
Our Mission Statement
As a family of servants of God, we seek to Glorify Him by offering our lives as living sacrifices, being intentional about engaging people with Christ and the Gospel, and using the talents and training He has given us through grace to proclaim the Gospel of Grace to those near and far.

2 Weeks
We moved to Searcy 2 wks. ago today... and this morning was spent in Dr. Dan's office getting shots and antibiotics for the entire family. We are ALL allergic to Searcy.
Gideon has it the worst with a double ear/sinus infection. But he's hasn't made a big deal about feeling bad, so we thought JR had it the worst. He has a sinus infection and his voice is 2 octaves lower than normal. Naomi has a mild version of what G has. And I have my normal "Searcy Health" (waking up every morning with a headache) I think I staved off most of the symptoms b/c I have been taking OTC (generic) Zyrtec.
But we got hooked up today so hopefully we are on the mend.
I keep promising to get pictures up here, but never do... I might just scrap the whole "summer picture" thing and go on from here. :)

Well... Whatever
I had selected about 200 photos from ALL summer (since I've been so bad about reporting this summer). And then, with one click I lost the last 40 min. worth of work.
I'm going to move on to something else now.
Sorry, you'll have to keep waiting for the photos. Or, you can check out Kelli's blog (if you have access to it) and see what we did with them at least.

JR's First Day of School (full-time)
JR headed off this morning for Memphis for his Greek class. He left with his new computer, back-pack, packed lunches/dinners, and the patch I custom-ordered for him from Janay.
Here are some pics of this morning:

Here's a close-up of his back-pack patch:

If you've been keeping up with his blog, then this patch probably doesn't surprise you. :)
I WILL get family pictures up here tonight. Catch you guys up on what we've been doing. :)

Slipping past me...
We are getting settled in here in Searcy.
I have been bad all summer about posting family pictures. Over on my photography blog I have posted some pictures from our photo session on the beach. Check it out!

Last Day in Tally
The family moved on in groups of 2, 3, and 4, and by Wednesday, the house was just down to Debby, JR, me, Gideon, Naomi, and Izzie. We are still doing laundry from the massive family visit, and packing and loading.
Our last Sunday at Meridian Woods was this morning. The elders prayed over us before the congregation, we said our good-byes, and then headed to lunch.
Tomorrow we will head out early and make our way to Searcy.
Keep us in your prayers.

Hold On...
I have TONS to post about. But, since N turned a year and a half on Sunday, I thought I'd put up her photos.
Notice the mark above her eye. We actually went to the ER while on vacation at the beach. But that's a story for my mega long post. For now... the pictures of Naomi.

... and because she's such a Daddy's Girl...

Here's G at 18 months:
