We're Working on Something...

There has been much debate in our family over the last week as to how we would post this news item. Should there be a picture of Gideon holding a sign? Should there be results of a test?

But, since almost every other post is all about Gideon, this one will not be. (I don't want to set a precedent...)

The Sheets family is learning to add.

We started with 2 (Sept. 10, 2005)...
2 + 1(May 27, 2006)= 3....
3 + 1(late January/early February 2008)= 4

Yes, folks... if you haven't picked up on it yet, we are expecting a new baby early 2008. I'm about 5 weeks pregnant (according to my calculations). We'll see what the dr. says when I go.

Gideon will be about 21 months older than the new baby, so those of you who have experience with children this close in age, I'm all ears for advice. :)

We couldn't be more excited about this next phase in our family.

I have been checking the gender predictor sites... and 4 out of 5 that correctly predicted Gideon and our niece, Rachel, say we are having a little girl. And today at lunch, one of my friends asked me a question and then told me that I was having a girl. So, we'll see...

Keep all of us in your prayers as we grow to include this new baby in our family.

-JR, Daisha, Gideon, and Baby #2
P.S. I'm still trying to get e-mail addresses for our new address. You can either leave your e-mail address in a comment, or you can follow the directions here.

It's funny how blogs can connect people together and make you feel like you know each other. ;) Even though our two will be 25 months apart, I think I understand the thoughts you might be having. I would really enjoy emailing with you as our two pregnancies develop and as we adjust with another newborn in the house again. We're at gmail....my email is writeapril.
