Back from Orlando

I'm sorry that I didn't get to post this sooner. (I know you were all on pins and needles over the weekend!) Our computer is wacked out, and I wasn't allowed to touch it til JR fixed it. :)

The rest of our time in Orlando was nice. There's a slide show at the end of the post for a pictoral account. Some highlights though, are:
1. JR got to meet Gov. Jeb Bush.
2. I found my first grey hair ever. (and I'm really excited about it. It was silvery and sparkly. I've always called my mom's grey hair her "hair glitter", and that's really what mine was. I DID pull it out however. Not because I didn't want it, but because I wanted to look at the growth pattern and figure out how long I've had it. And it turns out that it had about 4 months of growth that produced the silver sheen. And Gideon is 4 months old... coincidence? I think not.)
3. I took Gideon to the amazing pools at the resort, and he made the funniest noise. I'll imitate it when you next see me if you request it.

We are glad to be back home. Enjoy the slide-show.
Oh, and I almost forgot... Due to my post earlier stating that I was looking forward to seeing how Kim handles being the mom of two, there was some speculation that I am again pregnant. Let me assure you that this is not true. I have just always (well at least since 4th grade when we were pen-pals) have looked up to Kim and admired how she has handled herself in many situations. Also, her oldest is a boy (as is mine). And on top of that... Johnathan and Kalleigh are spaced about 2 yrs. apart, which is the interval that I have always wanted. So to clear things up... I am just looking to someone I admire for information that could be helpful in about 2 yrs.

And now the slideshow...

not that i'm going to be seeing you anytime soon, but even if i was, i would not request the noise. it is much more fun to just imagine the noise being whatever i want it to be. i have a good imagination! (BTW, do you remember the noise rob and i used to make at HUF all the time??? if not, then disregard the BTW portion of this comment)

gideon looks like he's right on pace, keep it up little man!

Wow, I can't believe I'm just now reading this. Getting back into some sense of normalcy, whatever that is, is taking a little longer than I might have hoped!

You're too nice, girl! It's always so fun to think about how our relationship formed since we began writing, um, 16 years ago!?!

Glad you're not pregnant again so soon, and I bet you are, too. I'm certainly glad not to be pregnant right now! ;)

Oh yeah, love the pics. Gideon's really growing!
