Appointment Update

So I had another appointment today. (just routine)

I am on track as far as weight gain, blood-pressure, blood-sugar, and stuff. Gideon is right on track in the fact that he has made my belly measurement match the number of weeks I've been pregnant. (that's what he's supposed to do)

I believe that I experienced my first bout of Braxton Hicks (pre-labor contractions) yesterday afternoon. And again, I'm right on track with those. I read an old book about the Bradly method, so I got to put those relaxation techniques into practice. And really, the pain wasn't all that bad.

That's it for now.

Daisha,
Glad to hear you're doing so well. :) I know I always left my prenatal visits with a little prayer of thanksgiving after hearing that things were right on track!
Totally cool that you're already working on relaxing during your Braxton-Hicks contractions (or "surges" as we called them in our hypno-birthing class.) It's amazing how much that helps when the real thing arrives -- my actual contractions weren't that much different than the Braxton-Hicks ones.

We're continually praying for you guys as the arrival of your new little man approaches!
:)
