Here is an update from yesterday's (Friday's) post concerning Fay's impact on our area here in Tallahassee.
As of 11am, estimates are up to 9 inches of rain and they are saying the worst is yet to come. Fay is pumping Gulf moisture up our way in rain bands of as much as 3 to 4 inches an hour at times. We are under a flash flood warning, a flood warning, a tropical storm wind warning, and a tornado watch at this time. A tornado was on the ground just SE of us and moving north - we should be fine with that one. It's pretty nuts around here though. I've never seen so much rain fall so fast.
