A First Quick Glimpse

Jr here, at 1:28am eastern time, came home to post some quick photos for all of our guests!

I'm a proud daddy of a little girl, Naomi Elizabeth Sheets. She weighed in at 9-pounds 1-ounce, 20-1/4 inches long, and a full head of hair.

I'm sure Daisha will blog about the story of the day sometime very soon; but I'll have everyone know that I was about 6 miles away washing my car when I decided to look at my phone that I had stashed away so it wouldn't get wet to find a text from my wife that said "My water just broke". So I rushed home and yadayadayada the docs pulled Naomi out (like I said, I'll leave it to Daisha to tell the story).

Needless to say, I love my wife for all she went through. She has not only given me an awesome son who is hilarious and fun, but now a daughter that is beautiful and precious (not to mention a little hefty!)

Without further ado, and so that I can get back to the family - here are two quick photos. More certainly to come in the following days.

That right there is a fine example of awesome blog-writing skills! Right now yadayadayada is about all I can handle.

Congratulations on a beautiful baby girl!

I'm going to take this opportunity to brag to the other readers and say that I have gotten to see her in person and she is even more perfect than these photos. She skin is just beautiful on those chubby cheeks!

She fussed a little when I held her but calmed right down once J.R. took her back, so I think we've got a Daddy's girl on our hands!

Congratulations!
