Here are Gideon's Stats from his 9 mon. check-up:
Height: 28.5 in. (50%)
Weight: 19.14 lbs. (26%)
Head: 45.8 cm (60%)
He had an iron test and 3 shots today. And I'm proud to report that he only cried while the shots were being given. As soon as they were over, so was his crying.
But then, on the way home, he pulled the band-aid off of his toe and tried to eat it. I heard him choking on something as I was going around a curve. When I looked back at him, the band-aid came flying out of his mouth. (It was pretty funny... once you get past the gross-factor.)
Gideon has also started dancing whenever he hears music or the word dance. It's really cute. OH, and he is starting to give high-fives... and sign for more durring his meals.
We had his apt. with his surgeon in Jacksonville on Monday. Gideon's surgery is scheduled for May 31. It will be an out-patient procedure, but he will be put under for it. And we will stay in the Ronald McDonald house the night before. (keep this in your prayers... if you'd like more info, you can e-mail us directly)

Absolutely adorable!! Hope everything is ok with him...I don't want to pry.
rachel was 20 pounds at her 1-year checkup! he may be surpassing her soon. :) and as usual, the pictures and video are great. i can't wait to get the tub shots of rachel and gideon together! give him a kiss for me!!
