Where did they go?

This morning, when Gideon got up, he looked all over for Gigi and Papa Dan. He had a very perplexed look on his face. Every morning of my parent's visit, Gideon got to spend quality one-on-one time with his Papa Dan. After he saw that he was stuck with just me, he seemed a little disappointed.

We had a great time with my parents. Every day we were out and about. Gideon's schedule was WAY off, but he's never talked more or had bigger smiles. He and Papa Dan did laps around the mall while Mom and I shopped.

Oh, and Saturday for lunch, we all at at Ted's Montana Grill. OH, boy, howdy! That place was good. And we topped off our fabulous entrees with a Kaluah Brownie. (that Papa gave Gideon a taste of... and got food all over his outfit)

And then, Saturday evening, JR and I were able to spend some time just the two of us. (alone time with a husband you've been married to for 11 months is a precious thing)

So all in all, we had a wonderful visit with my folks. They enjoyed Gideon. And they agree that our apartment here seems tons bigger than our old apartment in Chantilly.

Well, I'm off to make dinner.

(The picture of Gideon is from this morning while we were having "tummy time". Isn't he cute?)

I love to hear about my big brother as a grandpa. Papa Dan will surely spoil Gideon if Gigi gives him the chance. I bet they fight over who gets Gideon next.

You have a very lovely family and it is exciting to hear how well things are going.
Love,
Great Aunt Jeanne
